"God is looking for us to be His worshippers, but we don’t do anything without discipline." (The old bait and switch.)
"We must set our will on God and discipline ourselves to pray and worship." (Sounds like an awesome relationship.)
We invite the Holy Spirit to enable us so that it is not just a mechanical ritual." (As in a pattern without His presence?)
(1 Timothy 2:8) “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.” (Dissension in the family that will rule and reign?)
If we are distracted by dissension, our worship will not be an acceptable offering to the Lord. (God in the sky--acceptable; God in man--not so much.)
We must learn how to forgive our brothers and enter into this pure worship with no division or dissension. (Sounds like trouble in River City.)
